DSSAT Training Workshop
Assessing Crop Production, Nutrient Management,
Climatic Risk and Environmental Sustainability
With Simulation Models

At the University of Georgia Campus in Griffin, Georgia, USA
May 15 - 24, 2006

The University of Georgia in collaboration with the International Consortium for Agricultural Systems Applications (ICASA) and various other institutions hosted the Training Program on DSSAT Version 4 on May 15 - 24, 2006. The overall goal of this workshop was to familiarize the workshop participants with the Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer (DSSAT) and the Cropping System Model (CSM) for the simulation of crop growth and yield, soil and plant water, nutrient and carbon dynamics, and the application of models to real world problems. The workshop was successfully completed with 43 international participants.
